Best Original Score in a Motion Picture

The Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score[1] is one of several categories presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), an organization of journalists who cover the United States film industry, but are affiliated with publications outside North America, since its institution in 1947. Since the 5th Golden Globe Awards (1947), the award is presented annually, except from 1953 to 1958. The nominations from 1947 and 1948 are not available.[2][3] The first Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score went to Max Steiner for his compositional work on Life with Father.Wikipedia

Mary Poppins Returns is a 2018 American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall and written by David Magee, from a story by Magee, Marshall, and John DeLuca. Based on the book series by P. L. Travers, this sequel to 1964's Mary Poppins stars Emily Blunt as the title character, with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Dick Van Dyke, Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, and Meryl Streep in supporting roles.
