At the time of its opening in 1996, it was the highest roller coaster in the world and also the fastest, despite being succeeded by Tower of Terror II in 1997. However, its incredible lenght of 2045 meters continues to value it as one of the best rides in the world! As a curious fact, its name comes from Mount Fuji, which stands to the west of Tokyo.
