Buckingham Fountain
The Buckingham Fountain is a major tourist attraction located in Chicago, USA; it was inaugurated in 1927, for a construction cost of $ 750,000. What’s more, this is one of the largest fountains in the world and it’s inspired by the Latona fountain in Paris; its style is rococo (similar to a wedding cake) and it was built with pink marble from Georgia. It’s also renowned for its great water and lighting shows; and also for its four statues of sea horses, symbolizing the four states surrounding Lake Michigan: Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois.
